Collectibles giant POP MART has teased an upcoming collaboration with Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise, celebrating the latter’s 20th anniversary. The announcement came through POP MART’s social media channels, though specific details about the collaboration remain under wraps. This partnership marks another significant gaming collaboration for the company, aligning with Monster Hunter’s milestone year. POP MART, has built its reputation on designer toys and collectibles, particularly known for their blind box format products.
The timing of this announcement coincides with heightened Monster Hunter activity, as Capcom prepares for the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Wilds. . Capcom has recently announced a second Open Beta Test (OBT 2) scheduled for February, featuring both returning content and new challenges, including the addition of the monster Gypceros to the hunting roster.
The beta test will run in two phases: February 7-10 and February 14-17, 2025. Players participating in OBT 2 will have access to all content from the first beta test, including the Doshaguma hunt and story trial. As an added incentive, beta participants will receive exclusive rewards for the full game, including an OBT Bonus Pendant and a special item pack.

While the upcoming beta won’t incorporate the recently announced performance updates, weapon mechanics changes, and quality of life improvements detailed in the Pre-Launch Community Update, it will support crossplay functionality. Players will also be able to carry over their character creation data to the full game, which is set to launch globally on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
