Crypto exchange BTCC lists tokenized contracts for Pop Mart (POPMART), WTI Crude Oil (USOIL)
BTCC, a major centralized cryptocurrency exchange, cements its presence in the real-world asset tokenization segment. BTCC lists perpetual futures contracts for Pop Mart International Group Ltd. (POPMART) and WTI Crude Oil (USOIL).
The addition of markets for POPMART and USOIL means that BTCC traders can now access over 370 futures contracts. Since going live in June, BTCC’s latest futures products have already surpassed $1 million in trading volume, demonstrating strong demand for the diverse assets.
Alex Hung, Head of Operations at BTCC, welcomes new assets and expects them to be popular among various categories of traders:
As one of the first crypto platforms to offer tokenized futures, we were quick to identify the potential for blockchain technology to transform access to traditional markets. The expansion of tokenized assets BTCC now supports gives crypto natives access to diverse markets through a single platform.
In addition to adding new tokenized futures markets, BTCC has integrated TradingView’s technical analysis tools into its web platform. As a result, traders can access best-in-class tooling with support for a broad range of technical indicators.
The integration includes support for Set Take Profit and Stop Loss levels directly on the charts, split-screen functionality and the ability to combine Fibonacci retracement levels with the Bollinger Bands.
BTCC inches closer to 50+ tokenized TradFi assets
BTCC’s tokenized futures now span 49 traditional market assets across four main categories, with USDT serving as the trading currency. Stocks such as Tesla, Apple and Microsoft can be traded with up to 50x leverage, while commodities such as gold and silver can be traded with up to 150x.
Other core market categories on BTCC comprise Forex (currencies such as EUR, GBP with up to 200x leverage) and indices such as the S&P 500 and Dow Jones.
The tokenized futures market has seen growing interest as traders seek traditional asset exposure through crypto platforms. BTCC’s approach provides leveraged trading opportunities with the convenience of trading traditional assets using cryptocurrency.
The exchange plans to continue expanding its tokenized offerings throughout 2025, with new assets being added regularly to meet growing trader demand.
