QATAR. Qatar Duty Free is set to open the first Pop Mart store in the Middle East next month at Hamad International Airport.
The concept is known for its designer collectibles, including the hugely popular Labubu character, with a strong fan base spanning Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.
The store will showcase a wide range of collectibles, figurines and limited-edition pieces, with further exclusive products and launches planned.
A Qatar Duty Free statement hailed the arrival to the region “of one of the world’s most exciting lifestyle and collectibles brands”, saying it will introduce travellers to “a universe of creativity, playfulness and discovery”.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Retail & Hospitality Officer Thabet Musleh said: “Pop Mart has become a cultural phenomenon, and we’re thrilled to bring the first Pop Mart store in the Middle East.
