The now world-famous Chinese toy company is dropping a new series of plush pendants, phone chains, and much more that leans into the ghoulish occasion with a nod to our favorite jester and villain.
Allow us to introduce you to the new “WHY SO SERIOUS” collection that features our favorite furry monster at the forefront. Unlike other Labubu bag charm drops that feature the smiling fuzzy monster in different shades or variations, this new series features a whole crew of POP MART characters like Dimoo, Molly, and Twinkle Twinkle — just to name a few. Each pendant is wearing a cute but slightly eerie clown ensemble that, when all together, turns them into a spooky circus.

When Does the Why So Serious Series Drop?
The POP MART Why So Serious collection is set to drop tonight, Thursday, October 9, at 7 pm PT/10 pm ET on POP MART’s website. The drop will consist of magnets, phone charms, a candy pouch for trick-or-treating, and, of course, a plush bag charm. This new Labubu is dressed up as a fun clown wearing a jester hat, balloon pants with suspenders, and a little bow tie.
Now, if you’ve tried to get Labubu’s or really anything during a POP MART drop, you should know that you have to sign on to the app or website at least an hour before. Sometimes the drops happen 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, so you want to be prepared.
Where Else Can I Find the Why So Serious Series?
Just in case you don’t want to try your luck with POP MART or, for some reason, you miss the drop tonight, you can always try Amazon. The mega retailer has an official POP MART storefront that releases new drops, usually the next day or 48 to 72 hours after the original launch.
And if, for some reason, Amazon doesn’t work out, you can always try KicksCrew or StockX. So just in case, you have options.
What Are the Best Tips to Try to Get a Why So Serious Labubu?
Since there’s only one Labubu in the set, minus the Super Secret Edition, it’s going to be even more difficult to get. Your best bet at trying to secure the Juggling Clown Labubu is to use PopNow! This feature is found only on the POP MART app and allows you to virtually “shake” a box to find out what’s inside. Since there are eight different options, PopNow! Will show you two pendants that are not in the box, giving you a closer opportunity to find the one you’re looking for — aka the Juggling Clown Labubu.
