Starship Entertainment is launching an IP collaboration project to target the global MZ generation.
On the 28th, Starship Entertainment (hereafter ‘Starship’) announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with global art toy leader POP MART to pursue a joint project utilizing their respective Intellectual Property (IP).
Founded in 2008, Starship Entertainment is a comprehensive entertainment company. It boasts a strong artist lineup, including K.Will, Monsta X, Cosmic Girls (WJSN), Cravity, Ive, KiiiKiii, and Idid. Recently, the company has expanded beyond music, performances, and content production into a diverse range of lifestyle IP businesses.
POP MART, established in Beijing in 2010, is a specialized art toy company with globally beloved character IPs such as Labubu, Twinkle Twinkle, Molly, Dimoo, and SKULLPANDA. The brand has established itself as a unique cultural icon, operating over 550 directly managed stores across more than 90 countries and regions worldwide.
With the signing of this LOI, the two companies plan to introduce a variety of merchandise, collaborative content, and brand experiences that combine Starship artists’ music and visual IP with POP MART’s global character IP.
Attention is focused on the synergy that may arise from this unique collaboration between Starship artists, who have solidified their global influence through various activities this year, and POP MART, which has provided consumers with original experiences.
Details regarding specific collaborative products and schedules between Starship Entertainment and POP MART will be announced after the formal contract is signed.
