December 20 is the last day of the series of International Exhibition of Vietnamese Children’s Products and Toys (IBTE 12) and International Exhibition of Vietnamese Gifts and Household Goods (IGHE 2024) taking place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), but the atmosphere is still extremely bustling, with a large number of visitors.
Although it is an exhibition for businesses and manufacturers, the presence of many famous domestic and foreign toy brands such as Latoys, Yodee, Top Toy, Baby Three, Suamoon, Top City, Sising, Barbie Elaphant, Home Baby, FZ Toys, Card Fun, Moyu Block…. has attracted a large number of young people and consumers to “hunt” for toys.
The owner of Upsetduck booth said that the sad duck toys are not yet available in Vietnam and that he is looking for an official distributor. However, as soon as they were displayed at the exhibition, many people came to ask to buy them.
Similarly, the situation of “out of stock” and too many customers asking to buy forced many stalls from China to put the words “not for sale” in front of the counter.
In particular, the Baby Three display booth is always crowded, many people feel sorry because most of the products are not for sale, but are for display and as samples to offer to partners.
Tung Anh, a young person who came to “hunt for goods” at the exhibition, said that she had been waiting for this exhibition for many days and most of her group of friends came here, spending millions of dong on items to buy stuffed animals in the shape of Labubu or Baby Three, all of which were “unique” and not too cheap.
Mr. Zhang, a Chinese businessman, said that most of the blind box models he brought to the exhibition have not been sold in Vietnam. Many of them will be officially sold from the beginning of 2025, so these are the samples he wants to introduce to Vietnamese partners.
“Even though I just wanted to find a distributor, there were so many people asking to buy sample items,” said Mr. Zhang.
A toy brand also said it is looking for an official distributor in Vietnam, after seeing the number of customers buying online.
Among them, the booth with the Baby Three Christmas doll version, which was first introduced to the Vietnamese market, attracted many people to “check-in”.
Toys from China, using the blind box model, are taking Vietnamese social networks by storm and are also the booths that attract the most visitors and visitors.
The Chinese toy market is returning to the Vietnamese market after the fever of Labubu, Baby Three…, after the popular blind box trends.
In the coming time, it is expected that more stuffed animals with different character designs will “land” in the Vietnamese market.
Mr. Hou Huaizhi – Deputy General Director of ChaoYu, representative of the organizing committee – said that Vietnam has become an attractive destination for Chinese investors and businesses, especially in the fields of children’s toys, gifts and household appliances.

Many manufacturers, distributors and businesses in the industry introduce new products, exchange technology, expand markets and establish effective business connections in Vietnam.

The online craze for Chinese teddy bears and toy dolls has “landed” at the international toy exhibition.

Through the exhibition, traders have a multi-dimensional view of market development trends, helping to expand business opportunities and optimize network connections.

A new toy model was brought to the exhibition by the manufacturer.

Many Chinese toys cost millions of dong but are still sought after at the exhibition.

Consumers are curious about new toys that are creating new trends in the market.
