SINGAPORE. Leisure, retail and dining complex Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) is ushering in Chinese New Year with a high-profile retailtainment experience through a partnership with designer toy culture company Pop Mart.
As the only destination outside China hosting Pop Martβs Chinese New Year-themed activation, Jewel showcases a distinctive blend of art and storytelling with eye-catching installations, exclusive collectibles and festive promotions.
The colourful animation, running until 28 February, invites travellers to pose with Pop Mart characters at Jewelβs distinctive entertainment attraction, the 14,000sq m Canopy Park.
The Canopy Park also showcases installations from the brandβs Chinese New Year series, Wealthy Snakeβs New Year Celebration, which includes the first block blind box set and New Year-themed products inspired by traditional Chinese culture.

Upon entering, guests are welcomed by popular characters Sweet Bean and Pino Jelly, then make their way through Petal Garden, where theyβll meet Molly, Skullpanda, Labubu, Dimoo, Hirono and Crybaby, surrounded by a stunning array of festive florals.
Other highlights include a concert featuring Labubu at Source Pool and a journey through a magical forest near Discovery Slides with Hacipupu.

More photo opportunities await at Foggy Bowls, where travellers can snap selfies with Pop Mart characters from various popular series such as Dimoo from the Weaving Wonders, Molly from School Life of Molly, and Skullpanda from Warmth.
Global first
Pop Mart also debuted its exclusive Wealthy Snakeβs New Year Celebration β Fortune Hand Series Block Figures at its Jewel store on 10 and 11 January.
In a global first, the toy retailer has teamed up with Jewel to launch a themed mahjong set, inspired by its Wealthy Snakeβs New Year Celebration β Fortune Hand series, combining traditional gameplay and the playful charm of its popular characters.
The limited-edition mahjong set is available for S$298 (US$218) to customers who spend a minimum of S$388 (US$284) in a single day (with at least one receipt of S$50/US$37), and includes a complimentary pair of Mastercard Canopy Bridge tickets valued at S$27.80 (US$20).
In addition, travellers who spend a minimum of S$38 (US$28) in a single receipt at Canopy Park can take part in a scratch-and-win contest for a chance to win a pair of business class tickets to Taipei, courtesy of Starlux Airlines.
Additional prizes include Jewel tenant vouchers, attraction vouchers, retail vouchers and Jewel mascot plushies.
Travellers can also redeem a Pop Mart Chinese New Year sticker pack with the same receipt.
Until 16 February, travellers can access exclusive travel deals on Starlux flights to destinations including Taipei, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Japan.
To access these discounts, they scan the QR codes found on the red packets hanging from the kumquat plants at Jewelβs Level 2 entrance, and at the entrances of the two link bridges on Level 3, connecting terminals 2 and 3. These exclusive discounts are valid for travel between 10 January and 20 November.
For every S$150 (US$110) spent on Chinese New Year merchandise, fashion or dining at Jewel (with a maximum of three same-day receipts), customers can redeem a S$10 (US$7) Jewel gift voucher when paying with a UOB credit card. β
