Live With Kelly and Mark debuted the cohosts’ 2025 Halloween costumes.
EW previously had a first look at Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Severance outfits.
The 2025 holiday edition boasted around 67 total Halloween costume changes.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have given the nation’s population a new sleep paralysis demon, as the cohosting couple debuted their wild Live With Kelly & Mark 2025 Halloween costumes.
Following a show opening that included a spoof of the Apple TV series Severance — which Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealed earlier this week — costarring producer Michael Gelman, podcast host Alix Earle, and a dance number by the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, Ripa and Consuelos made their way to the stage while dressed as… Labubus.
“Well, well, we are the mystical monsters who’ve taken over the world, one surprise box at a time: Labubus!” Ripa said, before she and her husband turned toward each other and bumped their stomachs together, opening the episode that was entirely themed to trending topics and viral moments of the year.

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for 2025 Halloween episode
When the show returned from a commercial break, Consuelos and Ripa transformed into Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, with the set mirroring the set of Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, on which Swift announced earlier this year the title of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
While dressed as Swift, Ripa joked that the couple felt “infectiously joyful” coming in to the studio on their days off to get dressed up in Halloween costumes, as they filmed the episode in pieces across the last several weeks.
But they weren’t alone, as the cameos kept cooking throughout the episode, with the next segment welcoming back former Live cohost and American Idol emcee Ryan Seacrest, who teed up a satirical singing competition called Kitchen Idol.
The bit saw Ripa channel Chappell Roan, while Consuelos sported a chest-bearing bodysuit in the vein of Benson Boone.
Later, the show set its sights on Love Island, which saw the return of Gelman… but this time, baring his full chest and sporting nothing but a wig, jacket, and a small crimson speedo.

After that, Ripa and Consuelos took a journey through history and sported Hamilton-inspired outfits as they welcomed Broadway and screen actor Leslie Odom Jr. to the show for an interview.
As a nod to their Running With the Wolves docuseries that followed the couple’s journey in buying a European soccer team, Ripa and Consuelos hosted actor Jerry O’Connell for a sketch that saw Ripa move on to acquiring her next competition-related entity: a mahjong team.

Ryan Seacrest returns to ‘Live’ for 2025 Halloween episode
Outside of the cohosts’ costumes, the show again revived its traditional Halloween costume contest, which this year included a prize package valued at more than $18,000.
The couple dressed as characters from The Fantastic Four: First Steps while they welcomed a cavalcade of viewers who sported intricately made costumes, ranging from one married couple’s interpretation of human birth, a woman dressed as a rotting strawberry, a man who sashayed to set as the Ghostbusters logo, a fan who spent $2,000 to transform into a computerized skeleton, a rolling Willy Wonka blueberry, a human dumpster, and an artist who stepped in on stilts that made him roughly 10 feet tall, he said.

“I’ve climbed a glacier in Antarctica on stilts,” Darrell Thorne told Ripa and Consuelos, noting that walking on devices that tall came naturally to him.

Thorne finished in second, with the blueberry coming in third and the dumpster-diving contestant, Mike, winning the grand prize.

The Live Halloween episode concluded with one final surprise at the end.
“It’s hard to believe that another Halloween show is over. But, you know what that means! It’s time for another holiday season,” Ripa said, before the couple quick-changed into Christmas-themed attire, while the Cowboys cheerleaders danced to Yuletide tunes behind them.
