Pop Mart to open at upscale Connecticut mall

Pop Mart is expanding into a new market on the East Coast.

The Asian toy and collectibles brand is set to open its newest store in Norwalk, Conn. on March 8 at The SoNo Collection, an upscale shopping center. The new location marks Pop Mart’s first in the state and 23rd location in the United States.

Last month, the retailer told Chain Store Age that it expects that number to double by the end of the year, with expansions planned in East Coast and Midwest markets, along with potential flagship store openings in “key urban locations.” 

Visitors at the new Pop Mart location can expect an “immersive environment” showcasing Pop Mart’s collections, including Molly, Hirono, The Monsters, Skullpanda, and many others. The store will offer a series of opening specials on grand opening day.
