Pop Mart and Uniqlo Ut reunite for a new collaboration, this time with a capsule celebrating the narrative universe of The Monsters, the beloved series created by designer Kasing Lung inspired by Nordic mythology. At the heart of the collection is Labubu, the most iconic character, now a cult figure within the blind box aesthetic of Asian toy design.

Launching in mid-August at Uniqlo flagship stores across Japan and Asia, the collection features a selection of t-shirts and junior sweatshirts offered in four colorways — white, black, grey, and pink—following a visual language defined by clean lines and flat prints. The graphics range from minimal designs with “The Monsterland” in handwriting-style type to more expressive compositions showcasing stylized characters paired with the motto “We Are The Monsters.”
Beyond its playful aesthetic, the project fits within Uniqlo UT’s broader strategy of creating pop-culture-driven collections that blend urban sensibilities with art toy culture, all while maintaining accessible pricing and mass appeal.
