No hurdles can stop Rufa Mae Quinto from being a present mom to her daughter Athena, who celebrated her 8th birthday in a Labubu party the actress organized.
Quinto gave a glimpse of Athena’s celebration in which the character was featured in the backdrop, decorations and the cake, as seen in the photos reposted by the actress on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The mother and daughter wore matching peach custom outfits at the event attended by Quinto’s celebrity friends including Diana Zubiri, Chie Filomeno and Iza Calzado, Athena’s godparent.

Quinto also dedicated an open letter to Athena in a separate post, admitting she felt emotional as her daughter turned a year older.
“Happy 8th birthday. Nakakaiyak pala makita na go go growing up na you!” she said. “Pray pray, wish wish! Dapat matalino na ako. Gagalingan ko pa lalo ang pag-aruga sa inosenteng nilalang ko sa mundong ito.”
